When it’s cold outside, do not forget to drink water!

Did you know that the colder it is outside, the harder your body has to work to maintain its ideal temperature of 98.6? Drinking eight 8-oz. glasses or 2 liters of bottled water can actually help keep you warm. So don’t forget to drink water when you are skiing, skating or just walking in cold weather and make sure that your children do the same. Also, cold and flu medications and the heating inside your home and offices can dehydrate you, so drink plenty of water even during cold winter.

Drink water to hydrate your skin for younger looking skin and also to relieve discomfort from dry, itchy skin.

Wrinkles and dry and itchy patches on your skin are most likely caused by dehydration. Applying topic creams and lotions may relieve symptoms temporarily but can’t prevent from coming back. Hydrate your body from within for beautiful skin. Because we perspire during exercise, re need to re-hydrate. Consistent hydration also helps give us energy for our exercise regimens.
